haha screwed! LOST MY MSN PASS! ok here's the thing, i went up. couldn't get in. started thinking of a certain "kind soul" named kenrick but went ahead with the Forgot Password thing. now my MSN is screwed cause can't remeber which alternate email i put for it when I created this damned account 3 yrs ago. what was 130 contacts (little to begin with) is only 71. and everyone is going broke cause of our expenditure on gourmet meals. :O SATURDAY! dont really remember much about the whole day. but do remember the extravagant dinner we had at MoA. which officially means Mondern Asia. its real nice! (: really classy touch to it. located at clarke quay. took sometime to find it though. because the REAL resteraunt was actually named Tsubaki. but in fact, MoA was like tsubaki+some other 2 res. SUPER DUPER UBER NICE! the price was that too. ;D looked like this. and you'll get why i said that. had only 2 set course meals. if we went ala carte, it would have cost us much more. the two sets we ordered were the seasoned sets. namely summer and autumn. PLUS; OTARO! it was heavenly. ah! no main course though. only one bowl of the most divine ramen ever! seriously, i am drooling by the thought of it. there was onyl sashimi. but who's complaining? hehee. me and sis got like bottled Fiji water a.k.a. mineral water for $8/litre. mum and dad got ginger ale for $5/glass. hehe, thrifty me! (: lasted us throught the whole dinner and mum and dad were like sharing from us because their glasses were somewhat small. little taller than shot glasses if you ask me. but it was nice the ale. total bill: $193. with GST+sevice charge. SUNDAY! likewise, didn't remember much until dinner time. went to this resteraunt called vibe at hotel negara. another top notch place but this time it was buffet style. mum wanted to try the brazillian churrasco there for years! this time when we finally had bigger appetites they decided to bring us along. first time dining churrasco style. quite fun! xD basically for those of you that dont know, its where the chef comes down with a skewer and large portion of meat and asks you if you want some. if you do, he'll slice a piece of it onto your plate and tada! your meal. (: firstly the buffet was yet again japanese! ahaha. shall have to stop eating fish for a month now! starters was seafood soup. and oh we had a free iced green tea. those reals ones! with tea leaves too! tried tea leaf reading but to no avail. xD back to the buffet. finished our soup and went to get some ramen and sashimi. ate maybe a little too much before the main course was served. the first one was considerably light. pork sausage with chicken sausage wrapped in bacon. each one of us had it. then he arrived with another dish. should been the beef. took one. and the next was lamb. and the another beef. xD missed out on quite a few dishes because could barely swallow those we had already on our plates! (: my dad only missed one. some of it were just HEAVEN! others were like paper. maybe because i let them sit and cool thats why they became so tough. then had those unusual stuff like pineapple roasted with cinnamon. then there was this asian chef which totally passed us and he had the seafood platter! then everyone was like "WAIT!!! WE WANT THOSE PRAWNS!!!" xD! was a sight to see. then cleared our plates cause we thought the main course was over. started to take desserts and stuff to the table. then the chef came back with a second fresh batch of new meats and he was like "max! where are their plates?" in that cute brazillian accent. and we were like uh oh. anyway, we went for seconds and almost thirds. almost couldn't tell when to stop. it seemed like it needed time to sink into our stomaches. and when it did they would serve us another piping hot dish which would leave us asking for more. smart-asses! (: finsihed off the day and went home! total price: $79++ for adults, $49++ for children. $331++ for enitre family. now like no more restaraunts for a year?! haha. and on the sunday we even went to put down the $1000 deposit for our HK+Sheng Zen trip in november. how broke could we feel? xD MONDAY! HAPPY BIRTHDAY! LIM SIEW HWA! a.k.a. MUMMY! love you loads! take care of your health and may you live longer! <33 |
